CAREERS AT OTTIE & GEORGE
Come and build something brilliant with us.
We’re building Ottie & George from scratch, which means we have a rare opportunity to think carefully about not only the veterinary care we want to provide, but the kind of place we want to work.
We’re looking for people who care about doing a brilliant job, enjoy being part of a team and want to help shape what Ottie & George becomes.

WORKING AT OTTIE & GEORGE
We want to be proud of where we work.
We’ve both worked in different types of veterinary practice and know how much the environment around you affects your ability to do a great job.
We want Ottie & George to be somewhere people are trusted to use their judgement, given the time and tools to do things properly, and encouraged to speak up when something could be better.
We’ll expect a lot from each other because standards matter. But so do kindness, support, enjoying coming to work and being part of a team that genuinely looks out for one another.
And because we’re starting from scratch, the people who join us early will have a real say in how Ottie & George develops and how we do things.
What matters to us.
-
Notice what others might miss. Think ahead. Do the small things that make a pet’s visit, a client’s day or a colleague’s job better.
-
Treat the pet and person in front of you, not the process. Use your judgement and adapt what you do to what they actually need.
-
Reduce stress, not add to it. Explain things properly, anticipate what people need and make the experience as straightforward as you can.
-
If you spot something that needs doing, own it. Follow things through, speak up when something isn’t right and don’t assume somebody else will deal with it.
-
Stay curious. Ask questions, share what you know and be open to changing how we do things when there’s a better way.
-
Notice when someone needs a hand and give it. Be kind, communicate well and help make O&G somewhere people genuinely enjoy coming to work.
